MŌ’ILI’ILI SUMMER FEST IS SCHEDULED FOR SATURDAY, JULY 1, 2023
The annual celebration continues!
Organizers of the Mō’ili’ili Summer Fest have scheduled the annual Obon season celebration for Saturday, July 1, 2023. The annual Summer Fest celebrates historic Mō’ili’ili with Honolulu’s largest Bon Dance and modern street festival. It will be held on Coyne Street and the former Varsity Theatre parking lot from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Coyne Street between University Avenue and Kaialiu Street will be closed for the event and feature food vendors and comfort areas. Food vendors and retailers who are interested in participating may email may firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Mō’ili’ili Summer Fest is produced by Kamehameha Schools, the Mō’ili’ili Hongwanji Mission, the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawai‘i, the Mō’ili’ili Community Center, and the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa.
