Tokioka Heritage Resource Center
The Tokioka Heritage Resource Center provides public access to a repository of resources that help fulfill the JCCH’s mission to educate present and future generations in the evolving Japanese American experience in Hawai‘i.

Gift Shop
Purchase vintage Japanese wares and new locally-crafted items for all occasions and generations at the JCCH Gift Shop. Our unique product line represents the essence of the Japanese American experience in Hawaiʻi.

Kenshikan Dōjō
The Kenshikan Dōjō is a premier martial arts studio hosting kendo, karate, aikido, and other art forms. With knowledgeable and experienced instructors, we provide a welcoming and engaging environment for all interested.
Seikōan Tea House Section
The Seikōan Tea House is a traditional Japanese tea house, where visitors can enjoy a serene environment and experience authentic tea ceremony practice.


Honouliuli Education Center
Opened in 2016 in the Community Gallery, the Honouliuli Education Center aims to educate visitors about the Japanese Hawaiʻi internment experience. The Center offers tours, exhibits, and educational programs for all ages.

Masks
All visitors are encouraged to wear a mask when indoors at the JCCH Gift Shop, Gallery, Tokioka Heritage Resource Center, and administrative office.
- Masks are optional outdoors but strongly encouraged when near others.
- For those visiting after quarantine or isolation, face masks are strongly suggested to be worn around others in all settings for the remainder of the 10-day period.
If you tested positive for COVID-19
- If you test positive for COVID-19, quarantine according to CDC recommendations and do not visit the JCCH until you are fever-free for 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medication and your symptoms are improving.
