Does the JCCH accept book or document donations?

We are not currently accepting book or document donations to the JCCH archives. If you believe your item(s) are of great historical significance and directly related to our mission, please email [email protected] with a brief description and images of your item(s).

I am searching for someone (or trying to contact their family). Does the JCCH have genealogical records or a family's contact information?

The JCCH does not have in-house genealogical databases for vital statistics or publicly available contact information for families. Please refer to the Hawai‘i State Archives or Hawai'i State Department of Health for genealogical records. You may find a person's contact information through public directories.

I am researching a specific topic. What types of resources do you have? Can I visit the RC?

Materials include books, primary source materials, periodicals, vertical file materials, and audiovisual materials. Search our collections using the online catalog. Visits to RC are by appointment only.
