In this time of renewed efforts to build bridges between Hawaiʻi’s diverse peoples, we ask you to join us in laughing, crying, and learning with these two revered leaders.
At Building the Beloved Community, we will honor the work of two community builders and environmental advocates. They will share their experiences from over 40 years of community work together!
Listening to their stories, we will have the opportunity to learn how to address the injustices faced by Native Hawaiians while also embracing the imperative to protect our precious and imperiled natural environment. Light refreshments will be provided. Registration is required to attend.
