On April 22, 2023, the JCCH hosted a discussion with local Japanese American author Scott Kikkawa. Attendees learned about his writing process and his soon-to-be-released third novel, Char Siu. Kikkawa is a real-life law enforcement officer known for bestselling mystery novels Kona Winds and Red Dirt. His books will be available for sale and signing.
