Meet Brandi-Ann Uyemura, a fifth-generation Japanese American and author, at our free upcoming book reading and signing event. Her new children's book, I Am a Bon Dancer, tells the story of a Japanese American girl's first experience at an Obon festival. Copies of her book will be available for purchase at the JCCH Gift Shop, and a keiki activity will follow the reading. Admission is free, but registration is required. Spaces are limited.
