JCCH CRAFT TABLE: Shop for handcrafted holiday gift items made by JCCH volunteers at our special pop-up fundraising booth. Browse a selection of kokedama (moss ball), air plant arrangements, holiday trees, fabric bags, wreaths, patterned stockings, and more. 100% of sale proceeds will benefit the JCCH!
SHICHI GO SAN: Registration is now open for Shichi Go San at the JCCH. Shichi Go San is a Japanese coming-of-age tradition to celebrate the health and good fortune of young children. Traditionally, this custom recognizes three-year-old and seven-year-old girls, and five-year-old boys, but children around these ages are welcome to participate, too. Families participating in Shichi Go San are welcome to enjoy Aki Matsuri festivities in our courtyard!
This year's keiki kimono dressing event will be hosted by Expressions during the JCCH Craft & Collectibles Fair x Aki Matsuri event in November. Participation is by appointment only. Please contact Expressions directly at [email protected] or (808) 951-7827 for all Shichi Go San inquiries.
